Retail

So, I just want to thank all my years in retail and my managers who taught me about the retail business.  I am applying it to my business. Setting goals, keeping track of  inventory, making a budget and creating new treasures for the customers! To me as a stay at home mom it keeps me busy and motivates me to get ready and look like a business owner.  I heard a saying not sure from where,  it said "Look good for you" Most days I feel like not putting in an effort for me. Why? I am home all day who is going to see me? Looking good makes me feel good and makes me get off my hump and check my calender and see what I will achieve for the day. Trying to write a business plan. Yes, February is almost over. I think it's important for you to see where you want your business to go. Steps you need to achieve everyday to get there! I find it hard to juggle a toddler, keeping the house clean and running a business. One way I keep it all organized and me sane is my trusty calender! I write the 1. House chores. 2. Start a necklace. 3. Read a book to my son. Maybe not all that but it is helpful none the less! I loved everything about retail. The only thing missing was I was not in charge! I now get to have all that and be my own boss! I'm grateful for all the hard work that retail managers and boutique owners put into their business to make an enjoyable place for us (moms who need some retail therapy) (a day w/o the hubby and  kids)  to shop! I call it my place of heaven!
